MediaStreamingManager.SetMediaStreamingEnabled Method (Boolean)

Enables or disables media streaming on the server.

Namespace:   Microsoft.WindowsServerSolutions.MediaStreaming

Syntax

    bool enable
)

Parameters

  • enable
    Type: System.Boolean

    true to enable media streaming; otherwise false.

Exceptions

Exception Condition
SecurityAccessDeniedException

The caller is not a local administrator.
ProviderNotAvailableException

The media streaming provider cannot be contacted.

Remarks

The specified state of media streaming is independent of whether a particular shared folder is configured to be included in or excluded from the Media Library.
