Enable the Microsoft Terminal Services Client ActiveX Control (or the Microsoft RDP Client Control)

To enable the Microsoft Terminal Services Client ActiveX Control (or the Microsoft RDP Client Control)
Click Start, click All Programs, click Internet Explorer, and then go to the Remote Web Workplace Web site by doing one of the following:
From a client computer in the network, type https://sites/remote.
From a remote computer, type https://remote.<DomainName>.com, where <DomainName> is the external domain name of your organization, such as contoso. You can contact the person repsonsible for your network to obtain the Internet address of your Remote Web Workplace Web site.
On the Tools menu, point to Manage Add-ons, and then click Enable or Disable Add-ons. The Manage Add-ons dialog box appears (see Figure 14).
In the list of add-ons, click either Microsoft Terminal Services Client ActiveX Control or Microsoft RDP Client Control (whichever control is listed), and then click Enable.
Important
If the controls are not displayed in the Manage Add-ons dialog box, follow the procedure in Display Microsoft Terminal Services ActiveX Control (or Microsoft RDP Client Control).
If the controls are still disabled, redo this procedure from the beginning.
Click OK to close Manage Add-ons.
Add the Remote Web Workplace Web site to the trusted site list as follows:
Click Start, click All Programs, and then click Internet Explorer.
Click Tools, and then click Internet Options.
In Internet Options, click Security.
On the Security tab, click Trusted sites, and then click Sites.
In Trusted sites, for Add this website to the zone, type your organization’s Web address (URL) for Remote Web Workplace, for example, https://remote.contoso.com (see Figure 15). Click Add, and then click Close.
