Repair the Windows SharePoint Services database

Problem Windows SharePoint Services does not respond, and it displays a blank page with this message: “An unexpected error has occurred.”
Solution Verify that the Windows Internal Database (Microsoft##SSEE) is running. If it is stopped and cannot be started, restore the database from a backup. For instructions, contact Microsoft Product Support.
To verify that the Windows Internal Database (Microsoft##SSEE) is running
Click Start, click Administrative Tools, and then click Services.
On the User Account Control page, click Continue.
In Services (Local), locate Windows Internal Database (Microsoft##SSEE), and then verify whether it is started. If it is stopped, click Start.
