Repair Remote Web Workplace

Problem Remote Web Workplace displays an error saying, “The Terminal Services Gateway service is not running. Contact your network administrator to resolve this issue.”
Solution Restart the Terminal Services Gateway service. Then, if the problem still exists, open TS Gateway Manager, search for errors and warnings, and then click them to view additional details about the problem and the potential solutions.
To restart the Terminal Services Gateway service
Click Start, click Administrative Tools, right-click Services, and then click Run as administrator.
On the User Account Control page, click Continue.
In the Services (Local) list, locate Terminal Services Gateway, right-click it, and then click Restart.
To open TS Gateway Manager and search for errors and warnings
Click Start, click Administrative Tools, click Terminal Services, and then click TS Gateway Manager.
On the User Account Control page, click Continue.
In Managed TS Gateway Servers, double-click the name of the server that is running Windows SBS 2008.
In TS Gateway Server Status, look for error or warning icons, click the description to view details about the problem, and then follow the instructions to resolve the it.

Problem You uninstalled the Terminal Services Gateway or Internet Information Services by removing the role in Server Manager, and now you want to reinstall it.
Solution Complete the instructions in the following procedures:

“Terminal Services (TS) Gateway is not configured properly” at the Microsoft Web Site (https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkID=119487).
