Move Data

After you ensure that the data is backed up and that the hard disk drives are installed and configured, you are ready to move the data. Complete the following tasks in any order you choose:

• Move the Exchange Server Data

• Move the Windows SharePoint Services Data

• Move the Users Shared Data

• Move Users Redirected Documents Data

• Move the Windows Updates Repository Data

Wizards are available to help you move the data, or you can move the data by running commands in Windows PowerShell. For more information about using commands to move data, see Move Data Using Windows PowerShell Cmdlets.
