Stops an application pool or a site.

Syntax

Stop-WebItem [-Passthru] [-Protocol <String>] [[-PSPath] <String[]>] [-WarningAction <ActionPreference>] [-WarningVariable <String>] [<CommonParameters>]

Detailed Description

The Stop-WebItem cmdlet is used to stop a Site or an application pool.
