Checklist: Deploying a Single-Server Installation

The following checklist describes the tasks required to install and configure an Active Directory Rights Management Services (AD RMS) root cluster on a single server that uses the Windows Internal Database. This deployment is appropriate for installing AD RMS in a test environment. This deployment cannot be scaled to include multiple servers in this cluster.

Configure appropriate Windows Firewall exception on the AD RMS server.
