Audit a scope

To audit a scope

  1. Open Authorization Manager.

  2. In the console tree, right-click the scope that you want to audit, and then click Properties.

    • Authorization Manager/Authorization store/Application/Scope
  3. In the Properties dialog box, click the Auditing tab.

  4. On the Auditing tab, select the Authorization store change auditing check box. This check box does not exit for XML-based authorization stores.

Notes

  • To open Authorization Manager, click Start, click Run, and then type: azman.msc

  • XML-based authorization stores do not support auditing at the scope level.

  • If you configure auditing at the application level or the authorization store level, this is indicated on the Auditing tab in the Properties dialog box for the scope.

  • To audit your applications, you must have specific privileges and security settings. For more information, see Related Topics.

  • To perform this procedure, you need to use an authorization store that contains an application, and the application must contain a scope. For more information, see Related Topics.
