Hide or display columns in an MMC console

Applies To: Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2003 R2, Windows Server 2003 with SP1, Windows Server 2003 with SP2

To hide or display columns in an MMC console

  1. In an open MMC console, click an item in the console tree that displays columns in the details pane.

  2. On the View menu, click Add/Remove Columns.

  3. In the Add/Remove Columns dialog box, do the following:

    • To hide a column, in Displayed columns, click the column you want to hide, and then click Remove.

    • To display a column, in Available columns, click the column you want to display, and then click Add.

Notes

  • You might not be able to hide some columns in the details pane.

  • The hide or display columns feature is not enabled for all items. If you do not see the Choose Columns option on the View menu, you cannot use this feature for the selected item.
