Add a connection request policy

Applies To: Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2003 R2, Windows Server 2003 with SP1, Windows Server 2003 with SP2

To add a connection request policy

  1. Open Internet Authentication Service.

  2. In the console tree, right-click Connection Request Policies, and then click New Connection Request Policy.

    Where?

    • Internet Authentication Service (Local)/Connection Request Processing/Connection Request Policies
  3. Use the New Connection Request Policy Wizard to configure your connection request policy.

Notes

  • To open Internet Authentication Service, click Start, click Control Panel, double-click Administrative Tools, and then double-click Internet Authentication Service.

  • You are not required to configure a remote RADIUS server group before you create a connection request policy that forwards authentication or accounting messages. You can create a remote RADIUS server group in the New Connection Request Policy Wizard.
