Create a task definition

Applies To: Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2003 R2, Windows Server 2003 with SP1, Windows Server 2003 with SP2

To create a task definition

Open Authorization Manager.
In the console tree, right-click Task Definitions, and then click New Task Definition. The Task Definitions folder can be at the application or scope level.

Application level

Scope level

Where?
- Authorization Manager/Authorization store/Application/Scope/Definitions/Task Definitions
In the New Task dialog box, in Name, type a name for the task.
In Description, type a description of the task.
(Optional) Specify any tasks, operations, and authorization rules that you want to include.

Notes

To open Authorization Manager, click Start, click Run, and then type: azman.msc
