Convenience Consoles in Windows Server 2003 Administration Tools Pack

Convenience consoles combine related features into Microsoft Management Consoles (MMC). For example, to administer and troubleshoot an Active Directory deployment, administrators generally need to use Active Directory Users and Computers, Active Directory Domains and Trusts, Active Directory Sites and Services, and DNS. Windows Server 2003 Administration Tools Pack includes a saved console in MMC called Active Directory Management that contains these tools.

The Windows Server 2003 family contains three Convenience Consoles:

Convenience Consoles are displayed in Administrative Tools on computers running Windows XP Professional with Windows installed. These consoles contain snap-ins included separately in Windows.
