Add a scope to a superscope

Applies To: Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2003 R2, Windows Server 2003 with SP1, Windows Server 2003 with SP2

To add a scope to a superscope

  1. Open DHCP.

  2. In the console tree, click the applicable scope.

    Where?

    • DHCP/applicable DHCP server/applicable scope
  3. On the Action menu, click Add To Superscope.

  4. In the Available superscopes list, click the superscope to which you want to add this scope.

Notes

  • To open DHCP, click Start, click Settings, click Control Panel, double-click Administrative Tools, and then double-click DHCP.

  • In order to complete this procedure, at least one superscope must already exist at the applicable DHCP server.
