<Update_Name> - Intersecting Applications
Applies To: Windows 7, Windows Vista
The Intersecting Applications tab of the <Update_Name> dialog box enables you to view the following information for each for each of your installed applications with known issues related to the Microsoft® Windows update.
The name and version of the affected application
Your organization's severity assessment
To access the Intersecting Applications tab of the <Update_Name> dialog box
Click Analyze from the Quick Reports pane.
Click Updates from the Update Impact Reports heading in the Quick Reports pane.
The Updates screen appears.
Double-click the update for which you want to see the associated details.

Using the Intersecting Applications Tab
On the Intersecting Applications tab of the <Update_Name> dialog box, you can perform the following actions:
Review the impacted application information.
Select your deployment status for the data. For more information, see Selecting Your Deployment Status.
Categorize the data. For more information, see Categorizing Your Data.
Select your severity assessment. For more information, see Selecting Your Severity Assessment Rating.
