Gets whether a property is inheritable.

 

Syntax

HRESULT retVal = object.propertyIsInheritable(name, p);

Parameters

name [in]

Type: BSTR

Name of the property.

p [out, retval]

Type: VARIANT_BOOL

VARIANT_FALSE (false)

The property is not inheritable.

VARIANT_TRUE (true)

The property is inheritable.

Return value

Type: HRESULT

If this method succeeds, it returns S_OK. Otherwise, it returns an HRESULT error code.
