GetInstallUrl method

Retrieves the URL from which the Accelerator was installed.

 

Syntax

HRESULT retVal = object.GetInstallUrl(pbstrInstallUri);

Parameters

  • pbstrInstallUri [out]
    Type: BSTR

    The retrieved URL.

Return value

Type: HRESULT

This method can return one of these values.

Return code Description
OS_E_NOTFOUND

The property value was not available.

 

Remarks

This is the URL of the Web site that initiates an Accelerator installation. When a user clicks a link to install an XML-based Accelerator, the URL of the Web site that provided the link is saved as the install URL.
