Sets or retrieves the read-only state of this element.

 

Syntax

object.setAttribute("ariaReadonly",value);var value = object.getAttribute("ariaReadonly");

Property values

Type: BSTR

The read-only state.

(true)

The value of the element cannot be changed.

(false)

Default. The value of the element can be modified.

Note  For cross-browser compatibility, always use the WAI-ARIA attribute syntax to access and modify ARIA properties, for example object.setAttribute("aria-valuenow", newValue).
