ActiveElementChanged method

Deprecated. Informs the browser that the active element has changed.

Syntax

HRESULT retVal = object.ActiveElementChanged(pHTMLElement);

Parameters

• pHTMLElement [in]
  Type: IHTMLElement

  A pointer to an IHTMLElement interface representing the new active element.

Return value

Type: HRESULT

If this method succeeds, it returns S_OK. Otherwise, it returns an HRESULT error code.

Remarks

IDocObjectService::ActiveElementChanged was introduced in Windows Internet Explorer 7.
