This test suite validates basic scan, connect, data transfer, and sleep resume functionality with a physical access point.

Running the test

Before you run the test, complete the test setup as described in the test requirements: Wireless LAN (802.11) Testing Prerequisites.

This test will perform 4 actions per authentication and cipher pair:

  1. Scan with flush ten times in a row and verify the configured access point is visible in the list.

  2. Scan without flush and verify the configured access point is visible in the list with each scan.

  3. Connect to the access point and ping the gateway.

  4. Connect to the access point, put the machine into standby, wake it up, and verify it is still connected.

AP1Password

The root password for the first physical access point.

AP1IPAddress

The IP address of the WAN port of the first physical access point.

AP2Password

The root password for the second physical access point.

AP2IPAddress
