IOleControlNavigation2::GetControlNavigationCapabilities (Windows CE 5.0)

The browser calls this method to determine the capabilities of the navigation control.

HRESULT GetControlNavigationCapabilities(  DWORD* navigationFlags);

Parameters

  • navigationFlags
    [out] One or more of the following flags.
    Flag Description
    NAV_CONTROLDRAWSFOCUSRECT The control manages drawing of its FocusRect. In the current implementation this flag must always be set.
    NAV_CONTROLREQUESTSWAITFORNAVIGATIONSTATUS Requests that the browser wait for the control to call IOleControlNavigation2AdviseSink::OnNavigationStatusChange before proceeding to layout and render the control.
    NAV_CONTROLREQUESTSWAITFORNAVIGATIONSTATUS Requests that the browser wait for the control to call IOleControlNavigation2AdviseSink::OnNavigationStatusChange before proceeding to layout and render the control.

Return Values

Returns S_OK if the call succeeded.

Remarks

The capabilities flags returned by this method allow the control to specify whether it is responsible for navigation and draws the FocusRect, and whether the browser should wait for a notification from the control before proceeding to layout and render the control.
