Standard SDK for Windows CE OS Design Development (Windows CE 5.0)
With the standard software development Kit (SDK) for Microsoft® Windows® CE, you can use Microsoft eMbedded Visual C++® 4.0 or later to develop an application that is compatible with a Windows CE–based run-time image, provided that the Standard SDK for Windows CE Catalog item has been incorporated into the OS design. To maintain compatibility with the Standard SDK, your application must only use the technologies contained in the Standard SDK. If you use additional Catalog items, your application will lose compatibility with the Standard SDK.
