FSDMGR_GetVolumeName (Windows CE 5.0)

This function gets the name of a volume, given its handle. It is called by an FSD.

INT FSDMGR_GetVolumeName( HVOLhVol,PWSTR pwsName,int cchMax);

Parameters

  • hVol
    [in] Handle to the mounted volume that is returned from FSDMGR_RegisterVolume. This handle is not a true Win32 handle.
  • pwsName
    [out] Pointer to the string that contains the volume name. Set to NULL to get the size of the volume name.
  • cchMax
    [in] Maximum number of characters allowed in the buffer, including the terminating NULL. This is ignored if pwsName is NULL.

Return Values

The number of characters returned, not including the terminating NULL, indicates success. Zero indicates failure.

Remarks

An FSD should call FSDMGR_GetVolumeName after calling the FSDMGR_RegisterVolume function.
