ImmSimulateHotKey (Windows Embedded CE 6.0)

This function simulates the specified IME hot key, causing the same response as if the user had pressed the hot key in the specified window.

Syntax

BOOL ImmSimulateHotKey(
  HWND hWnd,
  DWORD dwHotKeyID
);

Parameters

  • hWnd
    [in] Handle to the window.
  • dwHotKeyID
    [in] Identifier of the IME hot key.

Return Value

Nonzero indicates success. Zero indicates failure.

Remarks

For Japanese versions 1.0 and later, Windows Embedded CE supports the following value for the dwHotKeyID parameter:

  • IME_JHOTKEY_CLOSE_OPEN
    (Japanese) Alternately opens and closes the IME.

This value is not supported for Windows CE 2.10 and later.
