Custom keys (Industry 8.1)

You can define custom keys to block key combinations that are not predefined by Keyboard Filter. You can use the Embedded Lockdown Manager (ELM) to add, remove, block, and unblock custom keys.
Create a custom key
A custom key consists of a combination of zero or more modifiers and a single non-modifier key. The modifier keys consist of Alt, Ctrl, Shift, and the Windows logo key. For each modifier, you can specify the left or right keys independently, or specify both versions of the key.
If you are creating a custom key that contains the Enter, Esc, or the Tab keys, you must use the Select Dialog Key drop down box to select the key.
The ELM sets new custom keys to be blocked by default.
Actions
On this window pane in ELM, you can use the following commands:
- Block all keys
Blocks all custom defined keys.
- Allow all keys
Unblocks all custom defined keys.
- Add custom key
Opens a dialog box in which you can specify a custom key combination to add.
- Delete blocked key
Removes the selected custom defined key. If the key was blocked, it becomes unblocked.
- Block this key
Blocks the currently selected custom key.
- Allow this blocked key
Unblocks the currently selected blocked custom key.
