Edit an answer file (Industry 8.1)

Review how to edit an Unattend.xml answer file for Windows Embedded 8.1 Industry (Industry 8.1).
When you run Setup in Windows Embedded 8.1 Industry (Industry 8.1), it creates an answer file called Unattend.xml. This file is located at %windir%\Panther\Unattend\Unattend.xml and is used during OOBE to complete the setup of Industry 8.1 on your device. If you want to create your Unattend.xml file from scratch or change this answer file before OOBE to further customize your device’s image, we recommend that you use Windows System Image Manager (Windows SIM).
