CeSHGetShortcutTarget (RAPI) (Windows CE 5.0)

This function retrieves the shortcut's target path.

CeSHGetShortcutTarget is a remote application programming interface (RAPI), which enables an application running on a desktop computer to make function calls on a Windows CE–based device.

BOOLCeSHGetShortcutTarget(LPWSTRlpszShortcut, LPWSTRlpszTarget, intcbMax);

Parameters

  • lpszShortcut
    [in] Null-terminated string that contains the name of the shortcut.
  • lpszTarget
    [in] Null-terminated string that gets the target path of the shortcut. The buffer must be at least cbMax characters long.
  • cbMax
    [in] Maximum number of characters that can be copied to the buffer.

Return Values

TRUE indicates success. FALSE indicates failure.

Remarks

When writing applications for Windows CE 1.0 and 1.01, use the PegSHGetShortcutTarget function.
