IeXdi2Exec::Run (Windows CE 5.0)

This method commands the debugging target to run.

HRESULT Run(  [in] BOOL fIgnoreCurrentExcept);

Parameters

  • fIgnoreCurrentExcept
    If TRUE, prevents a hardware probe from catching a potential exception at the current location.

    The debugger uses this indicator to pass an exception to the OS, or to perform a Go Unhandled instruction.

Return Values

The following table shows return values for this method.

Value Description
S_OK Indicates the function was successful.
E_FAIL Indicates an unspecified failure.
EXDI_E_COMMUNICATION Indicates a communication error between host driver and debugging target.
EXDI_I_TGTALREADYRUNNING Indicates the target was already running.

Requirements

OS Version: Windows CE 5.0 and later.
Header: eXDI2.h.
Link Library: ole32.lib, oleaut32.lib.
