IPrepareInfo2::GetPrepareInfoSize

The GetPrepareInfoSize method is called by the resource manager to determine the size in bytes of the prepare information that needs to be logged.

Syntax

  
HRESULT GetPrepareInfoSize(   ULONG * pcbPrepInfo);  

Parameters

pcbPrepInfo
[out] A pointer to the size in bytes of the prepare information. The actual prepare information is available by a call to IPrepareInfo2::GetPrepareInfo.

Return Values

S_OK
Success.

E_INVALIDARG
The value of pcbPrepInfo is NULL.

E_FAIL
The function is called when the transaction is not in the preparing or committing state.
