AL.KeyContainer Property

This API supports the .NET Framework infrastructure and is not intended to be used directly from your code.

Gets or sets a container that holds a key pair.

MSBuild is now included in Visual Studio instead of the .NET Framework. You can use MSBuild 12.0 side-by-side with versions previously deployed with the .NET Framework.For more information, see What's New in MSBuild 12.0.

Property Value

Type: System.String
The container that holds a key pair.

Remarks

This will sign the assembly (give it a strong name) by inserting a public key into the assembly manifest. The task will then sign the final assembly with the private key. For more information, see the documentation for the /keyn[ame] option in Assembly Linker (Al.exe).
