IVsDataConnectionUIConnector.Connect Method

When implemented by a class, opens the data connection in the context of a connection UI (for example, the data connection dialog box).

Parameters

• connection
  Type: Microsoft.VisualStudio.Data.Services.IVsDataConnection

  A data connection object representing the connection to the data source.

Exceptions

Exception	Condition
ArgumentNullException	The connection parameter is nulla null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic).

Remarks

If the connection is already open, this method does nothing.

Override this method to customize the behavior of opening a connection when in the context of a connection UI (for example, the data connection dialog box).
