GenerateApplicationManifest.UseApplicationTrust Property

This API supports the .NET Framework infrastructure and is not intended to be used directly from your code.

Specifies whether the Product, Publisher, and SupportUrl properties are written to the application manifest.

MSBuild is now included in Visual Studio instead of the .NET Framework. You can use MSBuild 12.0 side-by-side with versions previously deployed with the .NET Framework.For more information, see What's New in MSBuild 12.0.

Property Value

Type: System.Boolean
A Boolean value that indicates whether the Product, Publisher, and SupportUrl properties are written to the application manifest (true). If the value is false, these properties are ignored.

Remarks

The Product, Publisher, and SupportUrl properties default to nulla null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic). These properties are only used if UseApplicationTrust is true; if so, the values of these properties are written to the corresponding tags in the application manifest.

If UseApplicationTrust is false (the default value), these properties are ignored.
