IVsDataExplorerConnection.FindDocumentNode Method (String, Boolean)

Gets the specified connection node through the data view hierarchy. Optionally, searches unexpanded nodes that are not populated.

Parameters

  • documentMoniker
    Type: System.String
    The moniker for the node to find.
  • searchUnpopulatedChildren
    Type: System.Boolean
    A Boolean value indicating whether to search nodes that have never been expanded and are thus not populated.

Return Value

Type: Microsoft.VisualStudio.Data.Services.IVsDataExplorerNode
An IVsDataExplorerNode object representing the requested connection node in Server Explorer.

Remarks

This method gets the node ID through the document provider FindNode method and then passes this ID to the FindNode method to obtain the connection node.
