Determines whether or not the window is visible.
Namespace: Microsoft.VisualStudio.Shell.Interop
Assembly: Microsoft.VisualStudio.Shell.Interop (in Microsoft.VisualStudio.Shell.Interop.dll)
Syntax
'Déclaration
Function IsVisible As Integer
'Utilisation
Dim instance As IVsWindowFrame
Dim returnValue As Integer
returnValue = instance.IsVisible()
int IsVisible()
int IsVisible()
abstract IsVisible : unit -> int
function IsVisible() : int
Return Value
Type: System.Int32
Returns S_OK if the window is visible, otherwise returns S_FALSE.
Remarks
IsVisible checks to see if a window hosted by the Visual Studio IDE can be visible, taking into consideration whether the instance of the Visual Studio IDE is minimized or obscured.
IsVisible differs from the behavior of IsWindowVisible a method that may return true even if the window is completely obscured or minimized. IsVisible differs from IsOnScreen which checks to see if a window has been autohidden by the IDE, or if the window is part of a tabbed display and currently obscured by another tab.
