Un fichier de règles, ou fichier RULES, est un fichier XML qui possède l'extension .rules. Il vous permet de définir des règles de génération personnalisée et les incorporer dans le processus de génération d'un projet Visual C++. Les règles de génération personnalisée sont associées à une ou plusieurs extensions de fichier. Une règle de génération personnalisée vous permet de passer les fichiers d'entrée à un outil, qui produit un ou plusieurs fichiers de sortie, dans le cadre du processus de génération.
Utilisez la boîte de dialogue Fichiers de règles de génération personnalisée Visual C++ pour gérer les fichiers de règles dans vos projets.

Les fichiers de règles respectent les mêmes directives en matière d'héritage de propriétés que les feuilles de propriétés (fichiers VSPROPS). Pour plus d'informations, consultez Héritage de propriété. |
Lorsque vous incorporez des règles de génération personnalisée dans le processus de génération, vous pouvez également spécifier l'ordre dans lequel ces règles de génération sont exécutées. Pour plus d'informations, consultez Ordre de génération des outils, boîte de dialogue.
