Services Tab, XML Web Service Builder

Specifies the XML Web service to use in your application. You can also view the operations, or method calls, available for the XML Web service.

• Select an XML Web service
  Specifies the XML Web service that you want to bind to controls or objects on the form and displays other XML Web services that are available in the Toolbox.

• Refresh
  Updates the selected XML Web service so it can be registered properly on your computer. This option is available only when all registered XML Web services are listed.

• Add a new XML Web service
  Makes it possible for you to register and add a new XML Web service. This option is available only when all registered XML Web services are listed.

• Change XML Web service
  Lists all registered XML Web services. This option appears if an XML Web service is selected when opening the builder.

  Note   Changing the XML Web service removes all settings from the Operations tab for that XML Web service.

• View operations
  Displays the operations, or method calls, available for the selected XML Web service.

  Note   The selected operation appears in the View operations box only for informational purposes. You can set bindings for the operation on the Operations tab. For more information, see Operations Tab, XML Web Service Builder.

• View service description (WSDL)
  Displays the WSDL description for the XML Web service.
