When management packs reference management groups, the management groups use Windows Workflow Foundation-based binaries to do so. This enables your management pack to send enterprise management objects through the workflow. Workflow references consist of two pieces: a data source subscription and a workflow reference. The data source subscription helps filter objects into the workflow. The workflow reference processes those objects. You can customize the workflow reference.
