Gets the parameter by name.

Parameters

  • name
    The name of the parameter to get.

Return Value

The requested parameter.

Exceptions

Exception type Condition
ArgumentNullException

The name parameter is a null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic) or empty.

ArgumentException

The name parameter does not contain a valid name.

Thread Safety

Any public static (Shared in Visual Basic) members of this type are thread safe. Any instance members are not guaranteed to be thread safe.
