MonitoringConnector.AcknowledgeMonitoringAlertsForTiers Method (DateTime, IList)
[This topic is pre-release documentation and is subject to change in future releases. Blank topics are included as placeholders.]
The monitoring connector acknowledges that it has successfully received monitoring alerts from the Microsoft.EnterpriseManagement.ConnectorFramework, for all tiered Management Groups. It acknowledges alerts up until the given bookmark. The failures that occurred for the configured tiers are returned.
Namespace: Microsoft.EnterpriseManagement.ConnectorFramework
Assembly: Microsoft.EnterpriseManagement.OperationsManager (in Microsoft.EnterpriseManagement.OperationsManager.dll)
Usage
'Usage
Dim instance As MonitoringConnector
Dim utcBookmarkTime As DateTime
Dim failures As IList(Of ConnectorTieredOperationFailure)
instance.AcknowledgeMonitoringAlertsForTiers(utcBookmarkTime, failures)
Syntax
'Declaration
Public Sub AcknowledgeMonitoringAlertsForTiers ( _
utcBookmarkTime As DateTime, _
<OutAttribute> ByRef failures As IList(Of ConnectorTieredOperationFailure) _
)
public void AcknowledgeMonitoringAlertsForTiers (
DateTime utcBookmarkTime,
out IList<ConnectorTieredOperationFailure> failures
)
public:
void AcknowledgeMonitoringAlertsForTiers (
DateTime utcBookmarkTime,
[OutAttribute] IList<ConnectorTieredOperationFailure^>^% failures
)
public void AcknowledgeMonitoringAlertsForTiers (
DateTime utcBookmarkTime,
/** @attribute OutAttribute() */ /** @ref */ IList<ConnectorTieredOperationFailure> failures
)
Parameters
- utcBookmarkTime
The date and time value to which the bookmark is initially set.
- failures
The array of failures that may have occurred for various tiers
Remarks
The monitoring connector must acknowledge that alerts have been received. Failure to acknowledge an alert will result in subsequent calls to MonitoringConnector returning previously returned alerts until its successful transmission is acknowledged by the monitoring connector.
After acknowledging alerts, you get alerts that are updated after the bookmark time that you acknowledged with.
