LogFile Property

The LogFile property identifies the operating system file maintaining Microsoft SQL Server database transaction log records.

Read/write is the DistributionDatabase object is used to create a database used by replication for publication distribution. Read-only if the DistributionDatabase object references an existing replication distribution database.

SQL Distributed Management Objects (SQL-DMO) strings are always returned as OLE BSTR objects. A C/C++ application obtains a reference to the string. The application must release the reference using SysFreeString.

Notes

The LogFileproperty is a string of up to 260 characters.

Specify an operating system file by using the LogFile property. Specify drive and directory using the LogFolder property.
