A ItemParameter object is returned as output by the GetItemParameters(String, String, Boolean, array<ParameterValue>[]()[][], array<DataSourceCredentials>[]()[][]) method and is passed as input to the SetItemParameters(String, array<ItemParameter>[]()[][]) method.
