Logging and Reporting

Overall performance measurements begin when the speech system is completed. Statistical analysis of real users on the system is also possible at this point. Even after deployment, iteration will continue based on the evidence gathered from logging the interactions of real world users. The following data will provide useful statistics for evaluating the success of the design.

  • Recognition rates overall and by task
  • Task completion rate overall and by subtask
  • Average duration for all tasks, plus average duration for each task type
  • Call abandons overall and by task
  • Transfers to the operator or agent, overall and by task
