  Microsoft Speech Technologies Homepage

After deploying one or more speech applications on the Web server and completing the steps outlined in both Deploying the Application and Creating a Group, add Speech Application Deployment Service (SADS) to help manage the speech applications in the Microsoft Speech Server (MSS) environment.

To add SADS to a group

  1. Open a Microsoft Management Console (MMC) console that contains the MSS snap-in.
  2. In the console tree, expand Microsoft Speech Server, and then expand the applicable group.
  3. In the details pane, right-click the group, click Add/Remove Server, and then click Add.
  4. Under Server name, type the computer name of the Web server where SADS is installed.
  5. Clear all check boxes except the Speech Application Deployment Service check box.
  6. To specify a secure connection to the Web server, select the Use https check box.
  7. To specify a different virtual directory, click Virtual Directory Path, and type the new location. Then click OK twice.
