Workflow Event Symbols

The workflow event symbols are displayed on the design surface to the immediate left of the transition caption with which it is associated. This icon is the visual indication as to the type of the transition.

Symbol Description
Aa166214.decreateevent(en-us,office.10).gif Create event (triggered when items are created).
Aa166214.dedeleteevent(en-us,office.10).gif Delete event (triggered when items are deleted).
Aa166214.dechangeevent(en-us,office.10).gif Change event (triggered when items are changed). Can be used to create a state transition.
Aa166214.dereceiveevent(en-us,office.10).gif Receive event (triggered when an item is received). Can be used to create a state transition. Exchange workflow only.
Aa166214.deexpiryevent(en-us,office.10).gif Expiry event (triggered based on a time-out). Can be used to create a state transition.
