CalendarItemType.Start Property

The Start property gets or sets an instance of the DateTime structure that represents the start of a duration.

Namespace: ExchangeWebServices
Assembly: EWS (in ews.dll)

Syntax

'Declaration
Public Property Start As DateTime
public DateTime Start { get; set; }
public:
property DateTime Start {
    DateTime get ();
    void set (DateTime value);
}
/** @property */
public DateTime get_Start ()

/** @property */
public void set_Start (DateTime value)
public function get Start () : DateTime

public function set Start (value : DateTime)

Property Value

The Start property returns an instance of the DateTime structure that represents the start of a duration.

Remarks

The UpdateItem method can set the Start and End time of an Exchange store item. In an UpdateItem request, you can set the Start time without also setting the End time. This can cause an error if the Start time is later than the End time. Client applications must perform adjustments to the End time when the Start time is changed in order to preserve the Duration.
