TextToText.OutputEncoding Property

The OutputEncoding property gets or sets a Encoding object that represents the encoding to use when writing HTML output.

Remarks

The OutputEncoding property is only applicable when the output data is pushed by this TextToText object into a Stream object or pulled from this TextToText object using a readable ConverterStream object. It is not applicable when output data is pushed into a TextWriter object or pulled through a ConverterReader object.

If the OutputEncoding property is not set or is set to null (Nothing in Visual Basic), the current effective input code page is used for output.

The OutputEncoding property can only be set before conversion begins.

Any public static (Shared in Visual Basic) members of this type are thread safe. Any instance members are not guaranteed to be thread safe.
