Lock-Token Header

Topic Last Modified: 2006-06-13

The WebDAV Lock-Token request header is used with the WebDAV UNLOCK Method to identify a lock to be removed or a transaction to be committed or aborted. The Lock-Token response header is also used with the WebDAV LOCK Method to indicate a lock token that was created as a result of placing a lock on a resource, or a transaction lock token that was created as a result of initiating a transaction.

Lock-Token = "Lock-Token" ":" Coded-URL

The Lock-Token request header must identify a lock that contains the resource identified by the request Uniform Resource Identifier (URI).

Example
