The Domain Name System (DNS) or Network Basic Input/Output System (NetBIOS) name and port number of the proxy service to use when retrieving resources over the network.

Remarks

The proxy settings affect the entire process, not just the current thread. You cannot use different settings for different threads in the same process.

Both the DNS/NetBIOS name and the port value are required in the format name:port.
