Parameters

  • LoadFrom
    Specifies what configuration to load. Can be any value from the following CdoConfigSource Enum.

    Name Value Description
    cdoSourceDefaults -1 Load all applicable default field values.
    cdoSourceIIS 1 Load any default values from Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS).
    cdoSourceOutlookExpress 2 Load default values from Microsoft Outlook Express.
  • URL
    This parameter is ignored and reserved for future use.

Return Value

Returns S_OK if successful, or an error value otherwise.

Remarks

Use the Load method to explicitly load (or re-load) default configuration settings. These settings can include SMTP service settings and/or Outlook Express settings. The availability of these configuration settings is dependent on the local installed software.
