Decrypts the EncryptedData element.

Return Value

A System.Xml.XmlElement containing the data.

Remarks

The Decrypt method assumes that the element has been loaded from existing XML. The method decrypts the element and puts the decrypted form back into the document, and returns the decrypted element to the caller.

In regards to the returned element, XML Encryption allows for either full element or content encryption. The returned node is therefore either the parent of the original node or the replacement node.

Thread Safety

Any public static (Shared in Visual Basic) members of this type are thread safe. Any instance members are not guaranteed to be thread safe.
