Sends a message synchronously without expecting a response, using the specified SOAP method and SOAP envelope.

Parameters

  • methodname
    A string that specifies the SOAP method.

Exceptions

Exception type Condition
ArgumentNullException

methodname is null.

envelope is null.

ArgumentException

The method specified by methodname is not marked with the SoapMethodAttribute attribute.

Remarks

If the specified method name is a valid SOAP method then the SOAP action is the value of the SoapAction property. Otherwise the method name becomes the SOAP action.
