Sends a message synchronously without expecting a response, using the specified SOAP method and SOAP envelope.

Parameters

• methodname
  A string that specifies the SOAP method.

• envelope
  A SoapEnvelope that represents the SOAP message.

Exceptions

Exception type	Condition
ArgumentNullException	methodname is null. -or- envelope is null.
ArgumentException	The method specified by methodname is not marked with the SoapMethodAttribute attribute.

Remarks

If the specified method name is a valid SOAP method then the SOAP action is the value of the SoapAction property. Otherwise the method name becomes the SOAP action.

Any public static (Shared in Visual Basic) members of this type are thread safe. Any instance members are not guaranteed to be thread safe.
